High School Diploma Graduation: Amala’s Pioneering Class of 2021

“Before Amala I only had one door of opportunity and one choice and this was how my life would have been. Now, as I graduate I can see that every step in my life has over 15 doors and opportunities!” - Majd, Amala High School Diploma Alumnus

In June 2020, a group of 25 determined young people started their journey with Amala in Amman, Jordan. They are the pioneer cohort of the Amala High School Diploma - the first international high school curriculum for refugee youth.

15 months later, on October 8th, 2021, this cohort graduated, becoming our first ever Amala High School Diploma Alumni. Watch how we celebrated this milestone moment in our video below.
